In these unprecedented times with COVID-19, there has been the expected knock on effect to the way your Credit Union operates. The personal safety of Members, staff, and the local community is our main priority and we are paying close attention to Government guidelines; rest assured, we are taking every precaution possible.
In line with the Government’s recent directive, with effect from Tuesday 24th March, we have now closed our office until further notice. This decision was not made lightly and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are working hard to ensure we can continue to provide Members with the service expected in the event of major disruption.
While we work to implement our contingency plan, our key workers are only able to deal with email enquiries at the moment. We will strive to keep you up to date with any further developments via this website or email.
Please use email address: email@example.com only if your enquiry is urgent. This will allow our staff to deal with urgent enquiries efficiently and with members unable to access online.
We strongly encourage all Members to register for online services, where you will be able to view your balances and request share withdrawals.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will act in line with Government and NHS guidelines.
We understand how uncertain life is now and how difficult this can make day to day life. If you have a loan and are finding you are having trouble making payments to your account during this time, please contact us as soon as possible and we will assist as far as we can. We encourage your contact if COVID-19 has affected you financially; your Credit Union is here to help you.
If you do not have a loan and anticipate you may need money at short notice, you may wish to consider reducing or temporarily stopping deductions or payments to your account for your own convenience. We will be still processing share withdrawals, however it takes a little bit longer to reach the receiving bank account. Your savings will continue to be safe with us and protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
In the meantime, to all our members, please take care and stay safe.
